The Course
Not up for a full marathon? Last year, the Philadelphia Marathon
added a Half Marathon event just for you. This 13.1 mile event was
established in response to an increasing demand from die-hard runners and amateurs
looking to get their feet wet, and runners in between who want a serious
challenge, but don’t have the time to train for a full marathon.
Last year’s addition of the Half Marathon makes it even
easier to get involved in the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend! With more
events than ever before, you can be sure to find something to suit your experience
level and satisfy your competitive spirit.
All Half Marathon runners will receive:
- A technical shirt
- A finisher medal
- Post-race refreshments
- A finisher certificate
Awards
The top five male and female finishers in each age group (listed below) will take home awards for their performance.
